David Wm. Engelman Wins Top VLP Award.

Engelman Berger is proud to announce the selection of firm founder David Wm. Engelman as the recipient of this years highest honor in the Volunteer Lawyer Program (VLP), the M.C.B.A. Frank X. Gordon, Jr. Traveling Award.

Having long been active in various charitable and civic matters in the community, Engelman states, “A sense of fairness, justice and community was instilled within me by my parents at a young age that has become intrinsic with my being and part of my soul. I work for the community because that is who I am. I have been blessed with a privileged life and find it my obligation to help others who may not be so privileged. While being recognized is very special and appreciated, the gift is in the giving.” .

David was also a past recipient of the VLP ‘s William E. Morris Pro Bono Service Award in 2004.
