Experienced Bankruptcy Lawyer Joins Engelman Berger.
(Phoenix, Arizona) Phoenix-based law firm Engelman Berger has started a new ‘chapter’ with the addition of talented Chicago bankruptcy attorney, Patrick Clisham. Mr. Clisham brings experience representing individuals and corporate creditors and debtors through all aspects of Chapter 11 to Engelman Berger. Partner David Wm. Engelman states, “Patrick offers a wealth of knowledge and ability to our firm in every area of the Bankruptcy Code. We’re excited to have him.”
Engelman Berger has recently seen an increase in business due to the economic downturn and the addition of Patrick Clisham gives them the talent needed to handle the increased workload while expanding their offering in the bankruptcy field. Engelman Berger now has 11 full-time attorneys and 12 related support staff, focusing on a variety of practice areas, including; bankruptcy, water & environmental law, loan workouts, lease litigation, mediation, commercial litigation and business transactions.
While in Chicago, Patrick Clisham earned his Juris Doctorate degree from DePaul University College of Law, cum laude, in 2002 and has a considerable background in business and finance. Patrick is a also former Member of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and he previously served as Assistant Vice-President of Law & Government Affairs for AT&T Communications.
Mr. Clisham is currently a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Turnaround Management Association. In 2007, Patrick received the Award For Excellence in Public Interests Legal Education from the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois for his role in developing and advancing the Credit Abuse Resistance Education (C.A.R.E.) Program in
Chicago.
