(Phoenix, Arizona) Founding partners of Engelman Berger, P.C., David Wm. Engelman and Steven N. Berger, have expanded their practice areas to include the mediation of commercial and bankruptcy disputes. Having over 50 years experience in representing parties in bankruptcy and other commercial disputes, the partners have committed to take their knowledge gained from working with clients and lawyers over these years to assist both in resolving pending disputes before getting to court or to trial.

Engelman and Berger completed formal training through the prestigious Pepperdine University course on mediation. Both attorneys have conducted volunteer mediations regarding community based disputes. They are now focused on assisting parties to resolve commercial disputes. "This area of practice is a natural fit for our approach to resolution of legal problems," says Berger. "Mediation ensures that the parties will be heard and tears away barriers to settlement through the assistance of a third-party neutral."
