Berger Appointed as Lawyer Representative to 9th Circuit Judicial Conference
(Phoenix, Arizona) Engelman Berger, P.C.’s co-founding shareholder Steven N. Berger has been appointed as a Lawyer Representative from the District of Arizona to the Ninth Circuit Judicial Conference. Berger will serve a 3-year term dedicated to improvement of justice in the District of Arizona through work to teach, discuss and implement positions of the Judicial Conference. The position involves bringing together feedback to and from the Federal Circuit, District Court, and Bankruptcy Judges to and from lawyers practicing in Federal Courts in Arizona. Berger has practiced primarily in federal bankruptcy law matters for over 25 years in Arizona, and been an active participant in State Bar of Arizona committees, continuing legal education efforts, and other civic and community improvement efforts.
