BRANDI R. WATSON is our legal secretary working primarily with Wade Burgeson and Scott Cohen. Brandi began her legal career after moving to Phoenix from Globe, AZ in 1996. She graduated from the American Institute in Phoenix in 1997 with an associates degree and paralegal certificate. While one of her favorite pastimes is transcription, Brandi's time outside the office is spent with her husband and two beautiful daughters.

BOBBIE J. CROWE is an Arizona native who began working with Engelman Berger in 2002. With a 5-year-old daughter and 3-year-old twins at home, Bobbie is kept very busy but she always manages to finish the various projects we send her way. Bobbie’s free time is spent...well, there is no free time!

MARIA M. RAMIREZ is our Assistant Office Manager. She has lived in Arizona since 1989 having moved to the United States as a small child from Romania. Maria earned her Bachelor's Degree in Global Business from Arizona State University in 2006 and will celebrate her 5-year anniversary with Engelman Berger in 2009! Prior to joining our firm, Maria worked for the Arizona State Governor's Office. When not at work, Maria enjoys spending time with her husband and being outdoors.

MARIE K. UMLAH is our Office Manager. Having worked in law firms for over 20 years as a legal secretary, paralegal and administrator, Marie is uniquely qualified to manage our office and work with our staff and attorneys to ensure the firm achieves its mission. Marie is originally from the Chicago area, but escaped the sub-zero temperatures over 23 years ago. When not at work, Marie spends her time trying to keep up with her two young children.

CINDY K. SOLOMON, a lifelong Arizona resident, joined our firm as a paralegal with extensive experience in litigation and commercial bankruptcy, creditors’ rights, real property trustee’s sales, and collections. In 1999, Cindy obtained her national certification from the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) as a legal assistant. She is also a licensed private investigator in Arizona and Nevada and has previously been active in real estate sales. To read more click here


SUSAN K. REISBECK, has been an Arizona resident for 36 years and brings to the firm 28 years experience as a paralegal in the areas of bankruptcy, commercial litigation, creditors’ rights, real property trustee’s sales, and collection. Sue earned her paralegal degree at Phoenix College and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism at Arizona State University, Tempe, Arizona. To read more click here



ELIZABETH A. GRAY is an Arizona native with over 17 years of legal experience. Liz works with attorneys William Anger and Scott Hulbert, and paralegal Susan Reisbeck. Liz has three beautiful daughters (all in College) and a 2 year old grandson that keep her very busy when she’s not working. In her free time, Liz plays indoor and sand volleyball on a recreation league with her family and they go to the beach every chance they get! Liz recently celebrated her 25th wedding anniversary!


LINDA A. SAPERSTEIN is our legal secretary primarily working with attorneys Kevin Judiscak and Lorena Chavez, and paralegal Tambre Ruud. She brings to the firm more than 20 years of legal experience in the areas of bankruptcy, commercial litigation, and product liability. She is originally from New Jersey and has lived in Phoenix for over 25 years. Linda has an M.A. in French from Ohio State University. She is a licensed private pilot and flies voluntary missions for United Blood Services across the state of Arizona for Flights for Life! She enjoys traveling with her husband (also a licensed pilot) and they especially enjoy international travel, Linda having spent her junior year of college abroad at the University of Nice, France.


CYNTHIA L. WORNE is our legal secretary primarily working with Steve Berger and Patrick Clisham. She has lived throughout the United States having moved often as a child with her parents who both served in the military. Most recently, Cynthia moved from the State of Utah to Arizona in 2005. She began her legal career ten years ago after working as a medical transcriptionist for ten years in Utah. When not at work, Cynthia enjoys spending time with her husband, taking weekend drives throughout the state, and is an avid movie-goer.


QUANTA M. BROWN is our lead legal file clerk. She moved to Phoenix from Detroit in 2005 to attend Grand Canyon University. Quanta earned her Bachelor's Degree in History in May 2008 and is currently pursuing a Master's of Arts degree in counseling. In her spare time, Quanta enjoys writing poetry, liturgical dance and assisting with the Young Adult Ministry at her local church.



CYNTHIA D. NESSELRODE is our file clerk and backup administrative assistant. Cynthia was born and raised in Los Angeles and moved to Arizona in 2002. Her prior experience was in the medical field as a receptionist but Cynthia discovered she had a real talent for organization and detail! When not at work, Cynthia enjoys most spending time with her new husband and their 16-month old daughter. “Nothing beats family!”



KIMBERLY A. COX is our legal secretary working with David Engelman, Bradley Pack and Cindy Solomon. Kim is also an Arizona native having grown up in Chandler, AZ and graduated from Chandler High School. Kim has been in the legal field for over 25 years bringing to Engelman Berger a varied legal background and exceptional secretarial skills. Kim loves movies, wine-tasting (yes, even here in AZ!) and traveling north to their cabin in Strawberry, AZ, all of which includes time with her new husband!



KIMBERLY SAXTON is our receptionist and administrative assistant. If you’ve had the opportunity to meet Kim, then you know why she was chosen to become a part of Engelman Berger’s team! Prior to joining Engelman Berger, Kim worked primarily in the front office of various real estate companies, so she is accustomed to and enjoys the fast paced environment of a law firm! Kim was born in California but grew up in Arizona and this is where she raised her two daughters. Kim loves to bake (and we enjoy that too!) as well as sewing and oil painting. But mostly, Kim enjoys spending time with her daughters and two grandchildren every chance she gets!



TAMBRE L. RUUD moved to Arizona in 2004 from Wisconsin where she worked for one of the Midwest’s largest law firms for 15 years, gaining valuable experience in real estate purchase and sale transactions, sale leaseback transactions and real estate financing transactions. She was also responsible for coordinating the acquisition of over 1,000 aviation easements for a municipal client in connection with its airport noise mitigation program.

Upon her arrival in Arizona, Tambre worked for another large law firm, assisting with real estate financing transactions for various lenders in the Phoenix area, and with land acquisition and sale transactions for a local real estate developer and homebuilder, which eventually led to her working in-house for the real estate developer. She assisted the Executive Vice President with the acquisition and sale of vacant land and improved lots, assisted the Chief Financial Officer with obtaining financing for such acquisitions, assisted the land development team with subdivision and development of raw land, and coordinated public reports and homeowners’ association documents for new home developments.

Tambre joined Engelman Berger in February 2009. She is responsible for coordinating trustee’s sales for numerous clients and assists with various other real estate related cases.

In her spare time, Tambre enjoys seeing movies, going to concerts and traveling with her husband, Scott.
